Leela Daou is a political activist and digital media strategist who focuses on environmental and racial justice. She has worked as an adviser to numerous progressive congressional candidates and campaigns.
Peter Daou is a progressive activist who has served as a digital strategist in two presidential campaign war rooms. He has advised major political figures, including Hillary Clinton and John Kerry, and was described by The New York Times as “one of the most prominent political bloggers in the nation.”
Justin Nemon is a Democratic Socialist organizer who has worked on competitive electoral campaigns since 2013 at the local, state, and federal levels. Most recently, they were a Regional Field Director for Senator Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign in Des Moines, Iowa, where the campaign saw its strongest performance at the caucuses.
Danielle is a grassroots and community organizer from Seattle, Washington. She graduated from Whitman College in 2019 majoring in Rhetoric Studies and Politics. She was most recently a Regional Field Director and an Asian American Constituency Organizer for Bernie Sanders in Iowa.
Ansel Herz was Digital Director for Senator Bernie Sanders and before that, Deputy Communications Director for Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal. He was previously a journalist at The Stranger newspaper in Seattle.
Abbey is currently a New York University student studying French, Sociology, and Global Public Health. She has previously volunteered for progressive non-profit organizations such as Planned Parenthood. She runs the internship program, which currently has over 170 interns.
Eric is a long-time local progressive activist in the Tacoma area. He was involved in 15 NOW Tacoma during the 2015 effort to raise Tacoma’s minimum wage, and served for two years as a Co-Chair of Tacoma DSA’s Electoral Working Group.
